Riannan De La Torre

Basketball Illawarra would like to acknowledge the outstanding achievement of referee Riannan De La Torre. Riannan started out playing and refereeing in the Western Junior League and Southern Junior League of Basketball NSW. At the end of her junior career she found herself looking after the referees as the Referee Program Manager of both the Western and Southern Junior Leagues. In 2012, Riannan was the ASC Scholarship holder and is currently the joint SRDP Program Manager. Riannan’s support to upcoming referees is endless. Referee program manager at Illawarra Basketball in 2013 and heavily involved at the various junior weekends across the year as Referee Coach, passing her knowledge to the next group of NSW referees. Her love of refereeing continues to this very day where she is an active referee in the Senior Waratah League and the WNBL.Congratulations Riannan De La Torre for receiving your FIBA License!
