2025 NBL1 and Youth League Trials – Registrations Now Open!

Basketball Illawarra is excited to announce the trial dates for our 2025 NBL1 Men’s, NBL1 Women’s, and Youth League teams! This is your chance to be part of our senior representative program, showcase your skills, and represent Illawarra at the highest level.

Trial Details:

NBL1 Men

• Age: Opens
• Location: The Snakepit
• Trial 1: Saturday, 23rd November (2:30 pm – 4:30 pm)
• Trial 2: TBA

NBL1 Women

• Trial 1: Saturday, 23rd November (12:00 pm – 2:00 pm)
• Trial 2: Saturday, 30th November (12:00 pm – 2:00 pm)

Youth League Men

• Age: Year of Birth 2003 – 2007
• Location: Warrawong High School
• Trial 1: Tuesday, 19th November (7:15 pm – 8:45 pm)
• Trial 2: Tuesday, 26th November (7:15 pm – 8:45 pm)

Youth League Women

• Trial 1: Tuesday, 19th November (5:30 pm – 7:00 pm)
• Trial 2: Tuesday, 26th November (5:30 pm – 7:00 pm)

What to Bring:

• Drink Bottle
• Basketball (if you have one)
• Reversible Training Singlet (if you have one)
• Sweat Towel

Important Information:

• All players must acknowledge and agree to the policy and guidelines outlined in the 2025 IBA Representative Handbook .
• If any NBL1 athletes can not make any of the trials, please reach out to Ben Bagoly at ben.bagoly@snakepit.com.au .
• Exemptions for trials must be submitted in writing to Ben Bagoly (Head of Basketball) at ben.bagoly@snakepit.com.au .
• Players may be cut from the trial squad at any time during the trial period.
