Every member deserves a chance to pursue their dreams on the court and be involved in a great sport which promotes a healthy body and mind, social networks, and friendships.
That's why we are proud to launch our charitable program, ‘The Illawarra Hawks Nest Egg’.
What is it?
The Illawarra Hawks Nest Egg fund is available to lend a helping hand to those facing financial barriers limiting access and involvement into this great sport.
The Illawarra Hawks Nest Egg fund is aimed at supporting Illawarra Basketball Association members in need of financial assistance to continue their dreams of playing basketball or officiating within our Association, ensuring that no talent goes unnoticed or unrealized.
Here's how it works: Association members submit their application for financial assistance to The Illawarra Hawks Nest Egg Committee. The IHNE Committee will review and evaluate each individual’s application.
Through the Illawarra Hawks Nest Egg, we aim to provide deserving members with contributions that alleviate their financial burdens and allow them to continue their basketball journey. Whether it's covering registration fees, equipment costs, or travel expenses, we are dedicated to assisting those in need within our basketball community.
